After rebooting the server running vCenter, you find you cannot log into vCenter with vSphere client. On further inspection you find the "VMware VirtualCenter Server" service is not running (even though it is set to automatic). However you can start it manually, it just will not start automatically after a reboot.
VMware View Connection Server 4 is a component of both View 4 Premier and Enterprise Edition.
It is a critial component required for VMware View to function.

The EMC Storage Viewer provides the user a view of the relationships between VMware virtual machines, disk files, datastores and underlying EMC storage devices including Symmetrix and CLARiiON.
VMware View Composer 2 is a component of View 4 Premier Edition.

Composer offers features such as storage reduction, improved OS management and rapid desktop deployment.
