After installing VMware Horizon View HTML Access on the Connection Server and enabling HTML Access for the required desktop pools you may see the following error message:
"This desktop does not support the requested display protocol"
This is because the desktop in the pool you are trying to connect to does not have the Remote Experience Agent installed to allow the use of HTML access with this desktop.
You need to install the Remote Experience Agent. If you installed the agent on the master image, check you recomposed the pool and ensure all desktops have been updated.
It is possible you are connecting to a desktop that was not recomposed correctly and as such does not have the remote experience agent installed.
